Healing Through The Power Of Prayer!
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to
your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to you do I come,
before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my
petitions, but in your mercy hear and answer me.

POWERFUL DELIVERANCE PRAYER
Kyrie eleison. God, our Lord, King of ages, All-powerful and Almighty, You Who made everything and
Who transforms everything simply by Yo ur will. You Who in Babylon changed into dew the flames of
the "seven-times hotter" furnace and protected and saved the three holy children. You are the doctor
and the physician of our souls. You are the salvation of those who turn to You. We beseech You to
make powerless, banish, and drive out every diabolic power, presence and machination; every evil
influence, malefice, or evil eye and all evil actions aimed against your servant. . . Where there is envy and
malice, give us an abundance of goodness, endurance, victory, and charity. O Lord, You who love man,
we beg You to reach out Your powerful hands and Your most high and mighty arms and come to our aid.
Help us, who are made in Your image, send the angel of peace over us, to protect us body and soul. May
he keep at bay and vanquish every evil power, every poison or malice invoked against us by corrupt and
envious people. Then, under the protection of Your authority may we sing, in gratitude, "The Lord is my
salvation; whom should I fear?" I will not fear evil because You are with me, my God, my strength, my
powerful Lord, Lord of peace, Father of all ages. Yes, Lord our God, be merciful to us, Your image,
and save your servant . . . from every threat or harm from the evil one, and protect him by raising him above

Prayer of Authority
In the name of Jesus, I take authority and I bind all the powers and forces in the air, in the ground,
in the water, in the underground, in the netherworld, in nature and in fire. You are the Lord over
the entire universe and I give you the glory for your creation. In your name, I bind all demonic
forces that have come against us and our families and I seal all of us in the protection of your
precious blood that was shed for us on the cross.
Mary Our Mother, we seek your protection and intercession, with the Sacred heart of Jesus,
for us and our families and surround us with your mantle of love to discourage the enemy.
St. Michael and our Guardian Angels, come and defend us and our families in battle against all
the evil ones that roam the earth.
In the name of Jesus, I bind and command all the powers and forces of evil to depart right now
away from us, our families, our homes, and our lands and I cast you at the foot of the cross to
remain there forever. And I thank you Lord Jesus for you are a faithful and compassionate God,

Ten things to remember when you can’t get to confession
During this time of “social distancing” we are instructed to suspend all sacramental ministries including confession. So what are you to do if you can’t get to confession? Here are ten things to remember: 1) First, stop and think about the very basics of confession. In confession we come to God through the ministry of the church to repent of our sins and receive God’s pardon and peace. That’s what it is all about, and it is based not on our sin, but on God’s justice, and God’s justice is always twinned with his mercy. In God they are not distinct. In God justice and mercy are two sides of the same coin. Confession is our way to participate in the justice and mercy won for us on through the sacrificial death of Christ on the cross. So in confession we come to the foot of the cross to be bathed in the water and blood that comes from his side. Water of baptism. Blood of the Eucharist. Blood of justice. Water of mercy. 2) Because of Christ’s sacrifice the door of forgiveness is unlocked. The price is paid. The flood of forgiveness begins to flow. Now we remember that “God is not willing for any to perish.” (2 Pt. 3:9) He took this action and gave his only son in order that we might not perish. “For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved.” (Jn. 3:17) In other words, God’s in the forgiveness business. That’s what he does. That’s his mission. Get it into your head. God does not want to condemn you. He wants to forgive you. 3) Remember the distinction between mortal sin and venial sin. For a sin to be mortal there are three conditions: a. It is grave matter – that means the sin itself is a serious offense against God’s love. It is an action which is a rejection, distortion or destruction of God’s love. We can’t have a list of mortal sins because any sin could be mortal depending on the circumstances. b. The sinner has full knowledge that the sin is mortal. A well formed conscience will help you determine whether a sin is mortal or not c. The action is deliberate and has even a small measure of pre-meditation. In other words, once the person knows that the sin is a mortal sin and acknowledges it in their mind and heart they decide to do it anyway. For a sin to be mortal all three conditions must be met. From pastoral and personal experience I would add a fourth practical (but not dogmatic) condition, and that is the sin must be continued in without repentance. In other words, after the sin is committed if you justify it or say, “Oh well I’m only human” or “Everybody does it” you are in a dangerous place because you are denying that it is a mortal sin. However, if after the sin you repent and turn your heart back to God with a full intention of getting to confession as soon as possible, the pain of the sin being mortal is lifted. Why? Because it is common sense. You committed a mortal sin with full knowledge and deliberation. Now you have truly repented with full knowledge and deliberation. The mortal sin turned your heart away from God. Your repentance has turned you back to God, and remembering item number 2 on the list–“God is not willing for any to perish” and “He did not send his Son to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved.” 4) What is venial sin? Venial sin is therefore not a “sin unto death”. It does not have the conditions of mortal sin. Therefore a venial sin is something which is not grave matter. It is not fully understood and it is not done deliberately. If you lose your temper, get tired and grumpy, use bad language in a moment or any other sin (even if it feels serious) that you do without thinking and without deliberation it cannot be a mortal sin. Therefore the little things where we stumble day by day or the sins that we fall into out of bad habits or circumstances beyond our control (which inhibit our free choice) or where we don’t fully understand the seriousness of the sin–all these things are venial sins. 5) Venial sins are forgiven through an examination of conscience and an act of contrition. We should examine our consciences at the end of the day and add an act of contrition to our bedtime prayers. Venial sins are also forgiven through the confiteor at the beginning of Mass. Venial sins can also be forgiven with any heartfelt prayer of repentance and contrition: The Jesus Prayer: “Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God Have Mercy on Me a Sinner” is a suitable Act of Contrition. Remember. God is in the forgiveness business. He wants to forgive and will respond in mercy to even the smallest action of repentance. 6) Separate your feelings about your sin from the actual sin itself. Sin makes us feel guilty, ashamed and afraid of being caught. These feelings can produce contrition, but not perfect contrition. How you feel about the sin may not indicate the seriousness of the sin at all. You might feel very guilty and ashamed for looking at pornography because it is a dirty, shameful thing and if you got caught you would be humiliated and ruined and that makes you afraid. However, skipping Mass intentionally could be a more serious sin even though you don’t feel guilty and ashamed about it. 7) Look at sin through God’s eyes. St Irenaeus said, “The glory of God is a man fully alive.” The epistle to the Romans says, “All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.” Sin is therefore anything that keeps us from the fullness of living and being God’s glory in the world. That’s why it’s bad–not because someone in red robes in Rome made an arbitrary list of bad things to make you feel guilty. It is a sin because through it you have fallen short of the great and bountiful glory God has in store for you. 8) Confession is good and it is always a good thing to go to confession–even for venial sins. However, if you can’t get to confession you must get it out of your head that if you don’t get to confession and step in front of a bus you will go straight to hell. This is not the teaching of the church and it is not in the nature of God’s mercy. If you have any doubt or fear, make an act of contrition regularly. Practice the hesychasm. Stay close to God in loving communion. 9) Repentance is a joyful state of mind and heart. To repent of our sins is not a terrible horrible ordeal. It is more like having a good hot bath after getting all filthy and sweaty working in the garden. It is like taking a long run to blow away the cobwebs of a lazy and inert life. It is like a healthy meal after a diet of junk food. It is a good and joyful thing not only to go to confession, but to live a life of repentance and humility before God. 10) When the confessional doors open up again, go to confession with joy and thanksgiving, but in the meantime live a life of simple repentance and reliance on God’s mercy. Bathe in the ray’s of his Divine Mercy and even if we cannot celebrate the Resurrection together this year, stay close to the crucified in Holy Week and rejoice in his mercy on Easter Day. The Deliverance Prayer IOTT
In the name of Jesus Christ and by the power of His cross and Blood and by the power of the Holy
Spirit, I lift to the Lord myself, my family, our home, work place and each person for whom I am now
praying. By the authority of the Word of God it is written “Whatsoever is bound on earth is bound in
heaven; what is loosed on earth is loosed in heaven” (Matt. 18:18). Standing on the word of God and in
the name of Jesus Christ I bind you Satan and all your evil spirits, demonic forces, satanic powers,
principalities and forces of the air, water, fire, ground, the netherworld and the satanic forces of nature. I
bind all evil interplay out of and away from each and every individual’s spirit, mind and body for whom I am
now praying and send these evil forces to the feet of Jesus Christ. Your assignments in the lives of these
people are now broken.
In the Name of Jesus Christ I loose the Holy Spirit and the heavenly hosts to surround and protect each
area and individual, and to seek out and cleanse with God’s holy light all areas vacated by the forces of
evil. I loose the Holy Spirit to permeate their spirit, mind and body, creating a hunger and thirst for God’s
Word to the glory of God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
In the Name of Jesus Christ and by the power of His Word, I bind all spiritual, physical and mental
rebellion, defiance, guilt, shame, denial, deception, violence, confusion, fear of failure, procrastination,
spirit of control, criticism, poverty, infirmity, self-hatred, incest, anger, fear, anxiety, jealousy, envy,
rejection, poor self-image, distrust, timidity, false pride, laziness, lethargy, need to control, and any occult
spirit of darkness and death, in each of the people I am praying for, and I send these spirits to the feet of
Jesus Christ, now. I loose the Spirit of obedience, love, peace, joy, acceptance, good self-image, trust,
self-control, faithfulness, goodness, kindness, and the light and life of Jesus Christ in them.
I rebuke all the spells, hexes, vexes, curses, voodoo practices, witchcraft, satanic rituals and prayers not of
the Lord that have been sent our way. In the name of Jesus Christ I command that they go back to where
they came from.
In the Name of Jesus Christ and by the power of His word, I take the Sword of the Spirit and cut every
person free, for whom I am now praying, from all generational inherited sins, weaknesses, character defects,
personality traits, and cellular and genetic disorders. I cut all bonds that are not of the Lord between us,
our parents, our siblings, our children, and our grandparents to seventeen generations back.
In the Name of Jesus Christ we are now free to become the child of God the Lord intended us to be
filled with LOVE, PEACE, JOY, PATIENCE, KINDNESS, GOODNESS,
FAITHFULNESS and SELF-CONTROL. Thank you Lord, that you would grant all of us
“according to the riches of your glory to be strengthened with power through your Holy Spirit in our inner
being, so that Christ may dwell in our hearts, through faith, and that we being rooted and grounded in love,
may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to
know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that we may be filled up to all the fullness of God”
(Eph. 3:14-19).
Forgiveness Prayer
“Forgiveness is the pathway to healing,” says Father Robert DeGrandis. “I have discovered that when
we simply allow the Lord to empower our choice to forgive, the transformation process begins.”
Forgiveness sets us free! When you pray the following forgiveness prayer, it closes the door to Satan,
who no longer has a right to enter your heart or remain there, because you are choosing to give Jesus
authority in that area. When you forgive someone, you are fulfilling Jesus’ instruction: “For if you forgive
other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.”
Lord, I forgive (name the person). (Now list the things stolen from your soul, e.g. dignity, respect, safety,
trust, security) Lord, I give You permission to take the judgment and the bitterness out of my life. I do not
want this in my life. I surrender it to You and ask You to remove it, to heal me where I have been wounded,
to forgive me where I have sinned. I choose not to blame or hold the actions of others against them. I
hereby surrender my right to be paid back for my loss by the one who has sinned against me, and in so
doing, I declare my trust in God alone, as the Righteous Judge.
In the name of Jesus Christ who is both human and divine, I seal this with the Blood of Jesus. Father
God, bless them in every way. In Jesus’ Name,

As the Father has chosen you, O Mary, to be His Immaculate Child.
Joseph’s spouse, and the Mother of His beloved Son and of the whole

A Prayer For Generational Healing
Lord, the trouble in __________’s life has come down through the generations. I know I am helpless to
break the patterns of sin which have descended, and so I take them to the cross. I ask You to place the
cross of Jesus between ____________’s family and everyone in his/her family line. Shield them from the
effects of ______________ (be specific). Scripture tells us that Jesus came to destroy the works of
Satan. I ask that You destroy those patterns by which Satan has access to this family. Stop them on
Your cross, O God. Lord, I pray that Your cleansing blood will wash back through the bloodlines. I pray
for forgiveness in those areas where ___________ has participated in the sin, (be specific in naming any
known involvement), and I ask You to remove the ground of the enemy’s attack. May the blood of Jesus
cover __________ and the family. I repent and thank You for Your healing. Lord, I ask You to destroy
the structures surrounding this sin. I bind in Jesus’ name any familiar spirit which has urged this family into

1. NAME the FEAR or STRONGHOLD: Take notice of your thoughts or
thought patterns and try to name the fear behind them, be specific. Ask the Lord. Try
prayers that use the imagination like: (Ignatian, Theophostic, Immanuel). Words of
knowledge. Ask God the Father… Soaking prayer.
A. Names of Emotional, Physical, Spiritual strongholds:
1. Emotional: Words like: (depression, anxiety, worry, doubt, fears, anger, infirmity,
disease, trauma, pain, name the Sin, oppression, rage, rationalization and justification,
pride, death of a loved one, unforgiveness, lack of -Trust in God (Trinity; all 3 persons),
pride, guilt, shame, bitterness, resentment, hate, self hate, self-pity, self –righteousness,
jealousy, envy, rejection, abandonment, occult, etc.)
B. Identify the root, and the lies and vows behind it:
2. CROSS: Tell the Lord that you have allowed this fear or stronghold into your life
and confess it. Tell Jesus that you are sorry and ask for forgiveness; you may also need to
forgive yourself, others, God, etc.
Salvific Love Prayer:

2. Have Jesus tell you what wound has He already suffered for your issue
3. Take it to the Cross and meditate on how much Jesus suffered already for it.

Friday and into the throne room to walk in relationship with Him.
3. CURSE AGAINST IT AND CUT IT OFF: Things like CA cut off what
feed it!
4. CANCEL SATAN’S AUTHORITY: This takes his authority away that you
gave him to be in this area.
5. INVITE JESUS TO TAKE AUTHORITY IN THIS AREA: Again,
name the fear or stronghold and invite Jesus to take authority over this area (be specific,
physical, emotional, spiritual). Release the “SWORD IN THE SPIRIT” the Word of
God.
6. INVITE THE HOLY SPIRIT TO FILL THIS AREA: The Holy Spirit will
speak truth and help heal this area but will never go against your will. FOR PHYSICAL
HEALINGS PRAY HOMEOSTASIS IN TO THE BODY. Seal it with
the BLOOD of JESUS !

Forgiveness Prayer
“Forgiveness is the pathway to healing,”
says Father Robert DeGrandis. “I have
discovered that when we simply allow the
Lord to empower our choice to forgive,
the transformation process begins.”
Forgiveness sets us free! When you pray

the door to Satan, who no longer has a
right to enter your heart or remain there,

Heavenly Father, Your warrior prepares

Ten things to remember when
you can’t get to confession
During this time of “social distancing” we are instructed to suspend all sacramental ministries including confession. So what are you to do if you can’t get to confession? Here are ten things to remember: 1) First, stop and think about the very basics of confession. In confession we come to God through the ministry of the church to repent of our sins and receive God’s pardon and peace. That’s what it is all about, and it is based not on our sin, but on God’s justice, and God’s justice is always twinned with his mercy. In God they are not distinct. In God justice and mercy are two sides of the same coin. Confession is our way to participate in the justice and mercy won for us on through the sacrificial death of Christ on the cross. So in confession we come to the foot of the cross to be bathed in the water and blood that comes from his side. Water of baptism. Blood of the Eucharist. Blood of justice. Water of mercy. 2) Because of Christ’s sacrifice the door of forgiveness is unlocked. The price is paid. The flood of forgiveness begins to flow. Now we remember that “God is not willing for any to perish.” (2 Pt. 3:9) He took this action and gave his only son in order that we might not perish. “For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved.” (Jn. 3:17) In other words, God’s in the forgiveness business. That’s what he does. That’s his mission. Get it into your head. God does not want to condemn you. He wants to forgive you. 3) Remember the distinction between mortal sin and venial sin. For a sin to be mortal there are three conditions: a. It is grave matter – that means the sin itself is a serious offense against God’s love. It is an action which is a rejection, distortion or destruction of God’s love. We can’t have a list of mortal sins because any sin could be mortal depending on the circumstances. b. The sinner has full knowledge that the sin is mortal. A well formed conscience will help you determine whether a sin is mortal or not c. The action is deliberate and has even a small measure of pre-meditation. In other words, once the person knows that the sin is a mortal sin and acknowledges it in their mind and heart they decide to do it anyway. For a sin to be mortal all three conditions must be met. From pastoral and personal experience I would add a fourth practical (but not dogmatic) condition, and that is the sin must be continued in without repentance. In other words, after the sin is committed if you justify it or say, “Oh well I’m only human” or “Everybody does it” you are in a dangerous place because you are denying that it is a mortal sin. However, if after the sin you repent and turn your heart back to God with a full intention of getting to confession as soon as possible, the pain of the sin being mortal is lifted. Why? Because it is common sense. You committed a mortal sin with full knowledge and deliberation. Now you have truly repented with full knowledge and deliberation. The mortal sin turned your heart away from God. Your repentance has turned you back to God, and remembering item number 2 on the list–“God is not willing for any to perish” and “He did not send his Son to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved.” 4) What is venial sin? Venial sin is therefore not a “sin unto death”. It does not have the conditions of mortal sin. Therefore a venial sin is something which is not grave matter. It is not fully understood and it is not done deliberately. If you lose your temper, get tired and grumpy, use bad language in a moment or any other sin (even if it feels serious) that you do without thinking and without deliberation it cannot be a mortal sin. Therefore the little things where we stumble day by day or the sins that we fall into out of bad habits or circumstances beyond our control (which inhibit our free choice) or where we don’t fully understand the seriousness of the sin–all these things are venial sins. 5) Venial sins are forgiven through an examination of conscience and an act of contrition. We should examine our consciences at the end of the day and add an act of contrition to our bedtime prayers. Venial sins are also forgiven through the confiteor at the beginning of Mass. Venial sins can also be forgiven with any heartfelt prayer of repentance and contrition: The Jesus Prayer: “Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God Have Mercy on Me a Sinner” is a suitable Act of Contrition. Remember. God is in the forgiveness business. He wants to forgive and will respond in mercy to even the smallest action of repentance. 6) Separate your feelings about your sin from the actual sin itself. Sin makes us feel guilty, ashamed and afraid of being caught. These feelings can produce contrition, but not perfect contrition. How you feel about the sin may not indicate the seriousness of the sin at all. You might feel very guilty and ashamed for looking at pornography because it is a dirty, shameful thing and if you got caught you would be humiliated and ruined and that makes you afraid. However, skipping Mass intentionally could be a more serious sin even though you don’t feel guilty and ashamed about it. 7) Look at sin through God’s eyes. St Irenaeus said, “The glory of God is a man fully alive.” The epistle to the Romans says, “All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.” Sin is therefore anything that keeps us from the fullness of living and being God’s glory in the world. That’s why it’s bad–not because someone in red robes in Rome made an arbitrary list of bad things to make you feel guilty. It is a sin because through it you have fallen short of the great and bountiful glory God has in store for you. 8) Confession is good and it is always a good thing to go to confession–even for venial sins. However, if you can’t get to confession you must get it out of your head that if you don’t get to confession and step in front of a bus you will go straight to hell. This is not the teaching of the church and it is not in the nature of God’s mercy. If you have any doubt or fear, make an act of contrition regularly. Practice the hesychasm. Stay close to God in loving communion. 9) Repentance is a joyful state of mind and heart. To repent of our sins is not a terrible horrible ordeal. It is more like having a good hot bath after getting all filthy and sweaty working in the garden. It is like taking a long run to blow away the cobwebs of a lazy and inert life. It is like a healthy meal after a diet of junk food. It is a good and joyful thing not only to go to confession, but to live a life of repentance and humility before God. 10) When the confessional doors open up again, go to confession with joy and thanksgiving, but in the meantime live a life of simple repentance and reliance on God’s mercy. Bathe in the ray’s of his Divine Mercy and even if we cannot celebrate the Resurrection together this year, stay close to the crucified in Holy Week and rejoice in his mercy on Easter Day. PRAYER AGAINST EVERY
EVIL
Spirit of our God, Father, Son , and Holy
Spirit, Most Holy Trinity, Immaculate
Virgin Mary, angels, archangels, and saints
of Heaven, descend upon me. Please purify
me, Lord, mold me, fill me with Yourself, use
me. Banish all the forces of evil from me,
destroy them, vanquish them, so that I can be
healthy and do good deeds. Banish from me
all spells, witchcraft, black magic, malefice,
ties, maledictions, and the evil eye; diabolic
infestations, oppressions, possessions; all
that is evil and sinful, jealousy, perfidy, envy;
physical, psychological, moral, spiritual,
diabolical ailments. Burn all these evils in hell,
that they may never again touch me or any
other creature in the entire world. I command
and bid all the powers who molest me -- by

Lord Jesus, You came to heal our wounded
and troubled hearts. I beg You to heal the
torments that cause anxiety in my heart; I beg
You, in a particular way, to heal all who are
the cause of sin. I beg You to come into my
life and heal me of the psychological harms
that struck me in my early years and form the
injuries that they caused throughout my life.
Lord Jesus, You know my burdens. I lay
them all on Your Good Shepherd's Heart. I
beseech You -- by the merits of the great,
open wound in Your heart -- to heal the small
wounds that are in mine. Heal the pain of my
memories, so that nothing that has happened
to me will cause me to remain in pain and
anguish, filled with anxiety. Heal, O Lord, all
those wounds that have been the cause of all
the evil that is rooted in my life. I want to
forgive all those who have offended me. Look
to those inner sores that make me unable to
forgive. You Who came to forgive the

Heavenly Father, I thank You for loving me. I

Reflection After Confession
Heavenly Father, I come to You in this
renewed grace that you have given to me
through Your precious Son Jesus Christ
who came to this earth by Your will to show
me the pathway to forgiveness and love. All
of my thoughts I turn to, and reflect from my
heart, on this peace that You gave to me to
experience in this moment…….………. to give
me strength to go into the world and spread
this heavenly Grace and avoid the near
occasion of sin. Put your hedge of
protection around me to preserve this state
of Grace, the same protection that Jobe
experienced in his times of grace and
prosperity. I ask these things in the name of
